I have managed to get it working by using the official download exe installer. Still don't know why downloading the source did not work but hey I'm up and running. You can close this issue now thanks.

I built the TpMetroWpfLibrary first and then referenced it in the demos but still got the same error. I tried this with both the latest source and the one associated with the release. I'm a little puzzled at the moment but I will keep trying as this project has great potential if I can get it to work.

Please verify that the reference to the TpMetroWpfLibrary.dll within the Demos is not broken.

I recently downloaded the project and tried to build it. I had no problem with that and could start the demos without any issues.
